Task 1 – Reference Research

These two images show the equipment of a belt and sword. With these images it will inspire how my characters sword and belt will look like. I could also place some of my other equipment like the playing card into this belt to help store it instead of Johnathon Bearswick carrying it.

Johnathon Bearswick will be carrying a pistol of sorts and with the pictures above it will help me sketch out some ideas. The pistol will look a little old fashioned with a modern twist. The old fashioned part will make it look like a musket but hand held.

The last part of Johnathon Bearswicks equipment is a deck of playing cards. I will have these place onto the belt of Johnathon to help him hold it without him actually holding it. The playing cards were using to help him as a con artist to commit the art of stealing peoples money. The inspiration for these cards are rather default when you think of playing cards, back and front.
